Why it’s on the route

The Berni Bean was founded in 2021 by siblings Giuliana and Stefano Bernini, whose family owns coffee farms in Costa Rica, so the beans come straight from their own land. The bar serves pour-overs, lattes and nitro cold brew and sells bags of beans, with one percent of bean proceeds going to Costa Rican rainforest preservation.
