Why it’s on the route

Vice & Virtue was founded by Tim Perkins, who began roasting at home with a popcorn popper and now roasts on a Diedrich, keeping to the lighter side and letting the cupping table set each roast. Its first bar opened in 2019 in a hotel lobby on South Main Street, with a slow bar for AeroPress and coffees from a barrel-aging programme with local Blue Note Bourbon. The room has green walls, a black marble bar and pastries from the in-house bakery.
