Why it’s on the route
Exploradora is a family company started during the pandemic by Alison Gray Anderson and her daughters Wade and Hollis Johnson, sourcing coffee from women-run cooperatives and growers in Africa, Indonesia and Latin America. In 2024 it opened a roastery and coffee shop on the edge of Oxford, and a dollar from each bag supports an affordable-housing nonprofit for women in Jackson.
