Gem Valley is an art gallery, café and homestay in an old wooden house in Cat Cat Village, about 3 km from Sapa town toward Fansipan, run by two Hanoi-born artists who settled in Sapa. The ground floor shows the owner's work, inspired by the textile patterns and customs of the region's ethnic minorities. Coffee and Vietnamese green tea are served on a balcony looking over the rice terraces.
