Why it’s on the route
Kafeville was founded in 2016 by Luong Thanh Binh as one of Hanoi's early specialty coffee shops, and it roasts all of its own beans. The roster mixes Vietnamese single origins with imported lots from places such as Ethiopia, Burundi and Colombia, brewed on V60, Chemex, AeroPress and phin, as well as espresso and cold brew. The Truc Bach shop sits by the lake on Yen Ninh, with a slightly vintage feel.
