Why it’s on the route
VULAB was opened in 2023 by Le Quang Vu, a former pharmacist turned Q Grader with SCA sensory certification, in a quiet alley off Xom Ha Hoi. Coffees from the Vietnamese highlands, Ethiopia, Panama, Costa Rica and elsewhere are tiered from everyday to rare lots and brewed by siphon, AeroPress, phin, moka pot or espresso. The bright, compact room opens onto a small courtyard with plants.
