La Caféothèque opened in 2005 under Guatemalan-born Gloria Montenegro and roasts small batches of single origins, with no blends. The menu lists around 20 single origins that can be brewed in ten ways. The old building has several rooms with tables, armchairs and a bar, and the house runs a school for baristas and roasters.
