Why it’s on the route

Ajura is the second shop of Liwei Coffee Stand in Takadanobaba, run by Taiwanese owner Liwei and his wife Haruko. Coffee is roasted in-store on a San Franciscan roaster, with three single origins, a house blend and Alishan beans the owners source from a Taiwanese farm. Hand drip is served in Arita porcelain, and the signature black latte is whisked with bamboo charcoal powder; the room is styled after Taiwanese temples, incense included.
