Why it’s on the route

Amameria Espresso was founded around 2010 in Musashi-Koyama by Toshiaki Ishii, a Q Grader and barista-competition judge who grew up in his parents' kissaten. As demand outgrew the original café's roaster, he moved to this quiet residential site on Koyama 3-chome, which serves as both roastery and coffee bar. Expect espresso and a rotating choice of single origins, roasted in-house and also sold by the bag.
