Why it’s on the route

Gekko Sabo (月光茶房) is a basement coffee house in Jingumae, about five minutes from Omotesando Station, with a calm, gallery-like room of paintings and neatly displayed cups and saucers. All the tableware is Arita porcelain, much of it bought by the owner directly from the kilns, and coffee comes with homemade chiffon cake. It suits a slow, quiet visit away from Omotesando's crowds.
