Why it’s on the route
Always August is a roastery and café that started in Daegu and now has a home in Mangwon-dong, roasting its own single origins in-house and making its blends with Korean green-coffee partners including Coffee Libre. Pour-overs arrive with a printed card listing tasting notes and a simple brew guide of method, temperature and ratio. The room is warm and homey, with plants and ceramics, and also pours natural wine.
