Why it’s on the route
Lowkey has been roasting and selling specialty coffee in Seoul since 2010 and now runs six cafés, with blends, single origins, drip bags and pods sold in stamped-envelope-style packaging. The Seongsu shop pairs a three-group La Marzocco for espresso with pour-overs made on Japanese-style hand-drip tools. The interior is roomy, with a retail wall, and the shop hosts public cuppings and home-brewing classes.
