Why it’s on the route
Liberty Coffee was founded around 2010 by Terence Tay, a commercial pilot who swapped flying for roasting, with co-founder Diann Lee running day-to-day operations. The company roasts on a Loring Kestrel and two Probatino roasters, sourcing from Kenya, Brazil, India and Indonesia among others, and backs a rare-varietal farm project in Colombia. Blends include Speakeasy and Carbon; the Syed Alwi Road site handles trade visits by appointment.
