Why it’s on the route

HAUSINC Cafe was opened by a husband-and-wife team, an architect who taught himself coffee, including roasting and cupping, and a former flight attendant, who left their careers to return to Taichung. The North District café pairs a New York loft feel with vintage pieces and classic French designer furniture, serving single origins and espresso drinks with baked goods such as a maple bacon scone. A takeaway outpost, HAUSINC PICNIC, sits near the Minsheng green boulevard in the West District.
