Why it’s on the route
Ritrovare was founded by Huang Yu-cheng, who began as a coffee farmer before turning to roasting, and was runner-up in 2018 and champion in 2022 at Taiwan's selection for the World Coffee Roasting Championship. The roastery keeps five blends and around 65 single origins, brewed by hand at a bar with counter seating. This Guomei 'PLUS' shop, opened in late 2023, is a renovated Western-style house with a cherry tree in the front yard; the original is in Beitun.
