Why it’s on the route

KEEP Coffee Roastery is a small shop under a traditional arcade on Huai'an Street in Kaohsiung's Sanmin District, and the only southern Taiwan entry on the 2026 World's 100 Best Coffee Shops list, reached about a year after opening. The beans are roasted in-house and the focus is single origins, brewed by hand or pulled as espresso, with an emphasis on sweetness and a clean cup. Seasonal featured beans are the usual place to start.
