Why it’s on the route
Oh! Cafe is the Gushan flagship of a Kaohsiung chain owned by Jacky Lai (Lai Yu-chuan), winner of the 2014 World Coffee Roasting Championship. Its coffee is roasted by his company Coffee Bullet, which runs three roasters and a green coffee warehouse holding up to 15 tonnes, and hosts the Takao International Coffee Competition. The menu lists coffees such as a green-label Geisha, Kenya AB and the Classic Phoenix blend, and the shop is mainly takeaway.
