Why it’s on the route

Blackbird Coffee was opened in 2004 by Jimmy and Iona Holder on West Hancock Street and calls itself a roaster café, micro-roasting single origins on site and serving every coffee within seven days of roasting. The building also houses the Birdhouse Theatre, a small performance space where the owners have staged their own productions.
