Jittery Joe's Roaster

Why it’s on the route

Jittery Joe's is Athens' homegrown regional coffee chain, roasting coffee, much of it sourced directly from a farm in Nicaragua, under head roaster Charlie Mustard, who has been with the company since the 1990s. In 2022 the roastery moved to Fritz Mar Lane and opened a tasting room with a full coffee shop, where some seats sit on the production floor so visitors can watch the roasting.
