Founder's Cafe is the original shop of Brewpoint Coffee, opened in 2014 in suburban Elmhurst, west of Chicago, by Melissa Villanueva, who later co-wrote the book 'Starting & Running a Coffee Shop.' About three years in, Brewpoint began roasting its own coffee and now supplies all its cafés and wholesale customers from a Probat roaster at its Workshop & Roastery flagship nearby.
