Caffe Calabria

Why it’s on the route

Caffè Calabria grew out of a coffee cart Arne Holt opened in 1991, and since 2001 has operated from a 14,000-square-foot North Park building that houses both café and roastery. Coffee is roasted on a Probat visible through glass windows, in an Italian-leaning, espresso-focused style. The room is fitted with Italian tile, imported cups and an Amalfi Coast mural, and in the evenings it turns into a Neapolitan pizzeria.
