Why it’s on the route

Coffee & Tea Collective opened on El Cajon Boulevard in 2012 and is often counted among San Diego's first third-wave shops. It roasts single origins and blends in San Diego with a light hand, rotating a seasonal espresso alongside a light filter roast, and keeps a list of loose-leaf teas. The North Park shop is a bright, white, minimalist room set up as a tasting bar with a short café menu.
