Why it’s on the route

Copa Vida was opened in Old Pasadena in 2013 by Steve Chang and began roasting its own single origins and blends on a Diedrich in 2015. The Raymond Avenue café is split into zones: a quick-service bar, an espresso bar with lowered counters, and a slow bar for pour-over, Chemex and siphon, with an Alpha Dominche Steampunk used for tea.
