Excelsior Coffee

Why it’s on the route

Excelsior Coffee is a sliver of a café on Mission Street opened in 2019 by neighbourhood couple Lea Sabado and Andre Higginbotham, one of the first specialty espresso bars in the Excelsior. The bar runs a used La Marzocco, pulling a custom house blend made for them by a partner roaster, with single-origin coffees added over time. It is a small, friendly neighbourhood stop rather than a sit-down destination.
