Why it’s on the route

Stray Dog is a coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night on 24th Street in the Mission, opened in July 2026 by Angela Cao of Lost Cat Bar & Bites with drinks partner Nathan Angelo Depante. Inspired by Shanghai's all-day cafés, it pours Ritual Coffee in espresso drinks with Asian accents such as pandan and ube, plus signatures like coconut water under espresso foam. Evenings switch to pan-Asian cocktails, with bingo and trivia nights.
