Why it’s on the route

Futura is a Portland roaster co-founded by CJ Speelman, who roasts its coffees, sourced largely from farms in Panama and Colombia run by Felipe Sardi and Sebastian Villamizar. The lineup leans toward fruit-forward natural processes, with house blends named Act, Love and Change, and the Glisan Street café adds house chai, seasonal lattes and breakfast sandwiches.
