Kéan Coffee

Why it’s on the route

Kéan was opened in Newport Beach in 2005 by Martin and Karen Diedrich; Martin grew up in a coffee-farming family and earlier led the Diedrich Coffee chain. He selects single-origin coffees and roasts them in the café on a machine built by his brother's company, Diedrich Manufacturing. The Westcliff plaza space mixes wood, limestone plaster and live coffee trees, with a sunny patio.
