Why it’s on the route
Play Coffee is a multi-roaster bar in Downtown Fullerton's SoCo District, opened in July 2020 by Leon Wansikehian, who started in coffee at Kéan Coffee. The ground-up building is made from six shipping containers, with plenty of outdoor seating. Coffees rotate from roasters such as Tim Wendelboe, Morgon, Gardelli and The Barn, brewed on a La Marzocco Linea PB and EK43 grinders with custom-treated water.
