Why it’s on the route
Rose Park Roasters was founded in 2010 by Nathan Tourtellotte and Andrew Phillips, a former roaster at Kean Coffee, starting as a beans-by-bike delivery service. The 4th Street café in the Bluff Heights/Rose Park area was the first shop, and the company now roasts on its own Giesen roaster, sourcing green coffee through importers such as Cafe Imports and Red Fox. Two further cafés operate downtown.
