Milstead & Co. was opened in 2011 under Fremont's Aurora Bridge by Andrew Milstead, a former roaster and US Barista Championship competitor. It is a multi-roaster café, rotating coffees from roasters such as Heart, Coava, Bows & Arrows and Kuma through the day, with a choice of espressos on the La Marzocco and filter brewed to order by AeroPress. The long, high-ceilinged room has tall south-facing windows and communal tables.
