Why it’s on the route

Moonwalker was opened by Arlene Luna and Jack Blue, who moved from California back to Luna's home neighbourhood of Avondale. The plant-filled storefront on Belmont, with white brick walls and a dog-friendly, laid-back feel, pours creative espresso drinks made with Dark Matter beans, such as an Almond Joy-style latte. A short, changing food menu of sandwiches and bowls runs alongside occasional Friday-night pop-up dinners.
