Why it’s on the route

Native was opened in Belhaven in 2020 by Matt and Anna Flinn, who later launched their own Jackson roastery, Soapbox Coffee Roasters, on a Stronghold roaster. The 1,700-square-foot brick building is split into three bright rooms, and the L-shaped bar runs a Slayer espresso machine, Marco SP9 single-cup pour-over and batch brew.
