Why it’s on the route

One Line was opened on High Street in the Short North in 2009 by a father-and-son team who wanted to understand the supply chain behind their coffee. They roast a wide range of single origins on a Loring Kestrel in Heath, Ohio. The flagship has exposed brick and a circular bar with a custom pour-over station at its centre, sourcing notes on the walls and public cuppings on weekends.
