Why it’s on the route

Florin is run by Hans and Joelle Hochstedler; Hans learned roasting at Hemisphere Coffee Roasters and built Mission Coffee Co.'s program before starting his own wholesale-focused roastery. In January 2020 they opened a 14-seat café in North Linden fronting the roastery, where you can watch the Diedrich IR-12 at work. Batch brew is the focus, with four to seven single origins, espresso and a few pour-overs, all leaning sweet and mellow.
