Why it’s on the route

Third Way was founded in 2017 by Tim Rush and his father John on Columbus's West Side. Rather than roasting, it works as a multi-roaster showcasing local companies such as One Line, Roosevelt, Royal Flamingo and Florin, with espresso at the center and a row of nitro taps for cold brew. Its newer West Broad home is a bright, plant-filled room with murals and library shelves, plus outdoor seating and a drive-up window.
