Why it’s on the route

Overflow is a Black-owned South Loop coffee bar that opened around 2011 and serves residents of the South Loop, Chinatown and Bronzeville as well as commuters. Since 2018 it has been owned by Entrenuity, a small-business incubator founded by L. Brian Jenkins, which uses the café alongside its programmes for aspiring entrepreneurs. Expect craft espresso drinks and locally made pastries in a relaxed, neighbourly room.
