This Randolph Street café in the West Loop was among La Colombe's first Chicago outposts for the Philadelphia roaster founded by Todd Carmichael and Jean Philippe Iberti, with all coffee roasted back in Philadelphia. It began as a calm, sparsely decorated room of about 25 seats serving espresso drinks and pastries, and now trades as the La Colombe Coffee Workshop.
