Why it’s on the route

PennyCup was founded in 2013 by Bill Tanner and Amber Arthur and named after the 'penny universities' of old English coffeehouses. Its River Arts District café and tasting room on Depot Street is also the roastery, so you can watch small-batch roasting from the bar while drinking seasonal single origins or the house Railroad Espresso.
