Why it’s on the route

Pilgrim Roasters opened on Main Street in Manayunk in 2017, roasting on a restored vintage 10-kilo Probat, possibly from 1953, that is visible from the sidewalk. Co-owner Dan Faehl's bar runs house and single-origin espresso, V60 pour-over and batch brew, using reverse-osmosis water with a custom mineral recipe.
