Why it’s on the route

Prodigy is a nonprofit coffeehouse that runs barista apprenticeship programmes for young people in north Denver as a social enterprise. The Elyria-Swansea shop on 40th Avenue is easy to spot by its murals, with garage doors that roll open onto a large patio. Coffee comes from Strava Craft Coffee, and the signature drink is a house-made horchata latte.
