Why it’s on the route

Sightglass was founded by brothers Jerad and Justin Morrison, who opened this flagship in 2011 in a multi-level former warehouse at 7th and Folsom in SoMa. The coffee is roasted under the same roof on a Probat near the entrance, and the bar wraps around a large poured-concrete oval, with single-origin coffee and espresso made cup by cup. An upper level with original Douglas fir floors adds seating above the roastery floor.
