Why it’s on the route

Sur is a roastery café on El Camino Real in downtown San Clemente, selling beans from around the world for home brewing. The compact, no-frills menu is built around batch brew and espresso drinks, and the shop donates part of its proceeds to nonprofits under a 'farm to cup' ethos. It also has a café in Huntington Beach.
