Verve was founded in Santa Cruz in 2007 and works directly with growers, including giving coffee seedlings to farmers. Its Arts District location is a bright, two-storey space of about 7,000 square feet with the company's LA roasting operation on site, a full food menu and a bar serving pour-over, nitro flash brew, lattes on draft and espresso drinks.
