Why it’s on the route

Là Việt was founded in 2015 by former professor Tran Nhat Quang, who spent four years sourcing small Arabica lots around Da Lat to show what Vietnamese Arabica can do. The Nguyen Cong Tru flagship is a large black-and-white warehouse where coffee is processed in a dry mill behind the café, roasted from light to dark and served as washed, natural and honey lots. Behind-the-scenes and roasting tours can be booked.
