Café Lapin

Why it’s on the route

Café Lapin has been roasting its own beans on a large roaster near Ueno-Okachimachi for more than 30 years, offering everything from dark to light roasts with a taste chart on the menu to help choose. Coffee is brewed by paper or flannel drip, and the Lapin Blend pairs with thick toast, custard pudding or cinnamon chiffon. The dim, quiet room has around 30 seats, including a counter and a small terrace.
