Why it’s on the route
TIES is a small coffee-and-cake shop of about a dozen seats in Yushima, a few minutes from Hongo-sanchome Station. It brews strong single-origin coffees such as Kilimanjaro and Mandheling, with a demitasse option, alongside around ten homemade cakes that rotate with the seasons and often sell out on weekend afternoons. Coffee cocktails like a Café Alexander are also on the menu.
