Why it’s on the route

Tricolore's Ginza main shop has been serving coffee since 1936, which makes it one of the oldest kissaten in the district. Coffee is hand-dripped through a flannel filter one pot at a time and paired with cakes, the éclair being the best-known. The European-styled room, a few minutes from Ginza Station, keeps the formal, unhurried service of an old-school Ginza coffee house.
