John Small Roastery was founded by John Kim, an Australian-Korean who draws on both coffee cultures, in a quiet residential pocket of Yonggang-dong, about five minutes' walk from the Han River. Coffee is roasted in a separate space next door, and the bar pours precise pour-overs of single origins as well as flat whites made with the house blends. The room is light-filled, with pale wood furniture, regulars and house-made tiramisu.
