Why it’s on the route
Oasis was founded in 2018 by Yu-ta Chu, a former film-production visual artist who turned to coffee after tasting a Tim Wendelboe roast and later worked as a barista at Rufous. He roasts in-house, tweaking time and heat batch by batch, with a focus on rare and Cup of Excellence lots for light-roast filter alongside blends like Supersonic. The Xinyi Road shop is a modern room behind large sliding doors.
