Why it’s on the route
Moonshine Coffee Roasters was founded in Taipei in 2018 by Zenki Ho, a competition coach and Hong Kong Brewers Cup champion, and takes its name from the idea of serving by day and roasting by night. Beans are small-batch roasted on a Loring, from the Sun espresso blends to limited Moon micro-lots for filter and competition-grade Moon+ lots. Its café is built around an illuminated central bar serving both pour-over and espresso.
